I was nervous but really excited for the race. I was racing the 3200 so I had never done it before. Beforehand I got great advice from my mom and Corey that really helped me. At first I was intimidated by the 8 laps I would have to run but it really went by fast. I was really happy with just finishing! I didn't know what to expect so I just ran. There was a Snow Canyon girl infront of me that I should have caught and I really wanted to because at a point I could see her limping(sorry if that sounds mean) and I knew that was the time to catch her. I didn't catch her but I made sure there wasn't a bigger gap inbetween us. I felt like I was pretty consistent. Corey told me that at each lap I had to go faster so I could stay at the same time. I'm pretty sure I did that. I think I need to work on my last and first laps. I think my time was pretty good so that was good. I didn't feel like I was about to die with exhaustion but felt refreshed and could go run some more. With that being said I think I should have gone faster but it was my first race for the 3200 so I needed that race to know what I need to do next time to improve.
